Differential Equations

Differential Equations are mathematical functions involving derivatives of an unknown function that illustrate the rates at which things change. Coursera's Differential Equations catalogue teaches you about various types of equations, including ordinary, partial, linear, and nonlinear, and their applications in science, engineering, and economics. You'll learn to solve and interpret differential equations, model and analyze physical systems, understand the fundamental concepts of calculus, and apply mathematical reasoning in problem-solving. This will enable you to tackle a range of real-world problems from population dynamics and heat conduction to electrical circuits and planetary motion.
